Hi, I’m Naomi

Habitual Home started years ago as a homeware business and for a long time that’s exactly what it was. Somewhere along the way, our faux trees became what we were best known for and they’re very much staying.

But life looks quite different now.

I’m a mum of two little boys, running Habitual alongside doing the admin for our family building company and most days you’ll find me somewhere between the kitchen, the garden and a never ending pile of washing.

I love cooking from scratch, growing food we’ll actually eat, keeping our little flock of chickens, making our house feel like home and more recently finding my way back to painting.

And I realised Habitual didn’t need to sit separately from all of that.

So this is the next chapter.

A place for the recipes we genuinely eat, things I’m learning in the garden, life with the chickens, pieces I’ve painted by hand, beautiful things I find for our home and of course, the faux trees that started it all.

I don’t want this to be a perfectly curated version of home life. I want it to be useful, inspiring and real somewhere you can find a dinner to make on a Tuesday night, learn alongside me in the garden, discover something lovely for your home or have something meaningful painted to keep forever.

Family, food, home and all the little things in between.
