Habitual Home has been part of my life for years but somewhere along the way my life changed and the business stayed much the same.
What started as a homeware shop became known mostly for our faux trees and while they're still very much part of Habitual, I've realised I want this space to feel like home again in every sense of the word.
These days life looks like two little boys, chickens wandering around the garden, trying to grow some of our own food, bread on the kitchen side, dinner bubbling away and me squeezing work into the gaps in between.
And instead of keeping all of that separate from Habitual, I'm bringing it in.
So you'll start finding recipes here, things we're learning in the garden, life with our little flock, pieces I've painted by hand, things I've found and genuinely love for our home alongside the faux trees that have been here all along.
I don't have a grand five year plan for what it all becomes. I just know it feels much more like me, and much more like what I want Habitual to be.
A home for the things that make a home.
One day at a time.
